I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate (registered to the update service) that allows me to work in all Surrey Schools.
What I can offer
Therapy
I offer school or nursery-based packages of Speech and Language Therapy for children that can be tailored to your setting's needs.
This might include:
- One-off assessments for individual children
- On-going Speech and Language Therapy for individual children or small groups
- Advice and consultation for supporting children with language or social communication difficulties within the classroom incl. Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing and Integration needs
- Provision of Speech and Language programmes for individual children or small groups for delivery by school staff
- Regular on-site Speech and Language Therapy for individuals or small groups
Training
I can also provide training sessions for staff tailored to the needs of your setting. Possible topics include :
- How to identify and support children with communication difficulties
- Expressive and Receptive Language Difficulties – signs, symptoms and intervention
- Using Makaton
- Creating a Communication-Friendly Environment
